Sharlene Rogers is an advanced practice registered nurse who specializes as a nurse practitioner in adult gerontological care. (AGCNP). This training prepares a nurse practitioner to treat severe chronic health conditions while promoting overall wellness for adults with a holistic approach. Her 25 years of nursing experience includes pediatric, post-operative, school nursing, intensive care, nursing management, and endocrinology. Sharlene became a Certified Diabetes Educator and developed the Empower Diabetes Self Management Program in Southern New Mexico. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Texas in Austin and a Master's in Nursing from Walden University. Sharlene has had several years of experience in Diabetes and Endocrine care and is also a board-certified Advanced Diabetes Manager. She is now the owner of Mountain Grit Wellness and the provider of Lil Light Insulin Consults. Sharlene continues to enjoy providing endocrine care for patients with the Christus Health family.

Nurse Injector & IV SpecialistWith three years bedside nurse experience, Sabina McClain earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from New Mexico State University in 2021. She is certified in the administration of Botulinum Toxin and IV administration. Now, she is pursuing a Master’s degree in Nursing for Family Nurse Practitioner at Chamberlain University. Sabina brings a friendly, trusting demeanor to the practice that welcomes patients near and far.
